- David Trebilcock14.06.2018★ ★ ★ ★ ☆At the station campsite there is unfortunately a noisy diesel generator that cuts in and out during the evening and night, however the stunning drive to the shore of Lake Gairdner makes up for it. There is a charge of $30 per vehicle to access the road to the lake (key to gate) and it takes about three quarters on an hour to get. Amenities at the campsite are okay. The showers were hot and reliable, and there were metal half barrels on legs for having a fire in. Firewood was available I think but we brought our own. Staff and friendly and happy to open up the bar to customers, but we were too tired after the long drive there.
